Hi,
I’m Kendrick Sharpe — a passionate educator, mentor, and software engineer with real-world experience at Amazon, Google, and several startups. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Earth Systems Geography. While at Berkeley, I was a teaching assistant for the university’s most popular computer science courses (CS61A and CS61B), helping over 1,000 students grasp core programming concepts, debug tough problems, and build confidence in their skills.
Since then, I’ve worked on everything from AI-powered chatbots to mobile apps used by millions of people — and I bring that same hands-on, real-world approach to tutoring. I’ve also founded my own app development studio and continue to study Artificial Intelligence at Georgia Tech part-time.
I specialize in tutoring students from grades 8–14 — middle school through early college — in computer science topics like Python, Java, data structures, algorithms, and software development. My goal is to make complex ideas simple and fun, whether you’re brand new to coding or looking to deepen your understanding.
Beyond tech, I’m a lifelong learner, triathlete, and outdoors enthusiast. I believe learning should be as empowering as it is practical — and I’m excited to help students build skills they can use for life.
